The Emergency First Aid at Work Course takes place in Norfolk, at a venue also conveniently located for businesses based in Suffolk and elsewhere in East Anglia. Most courses are held either at our head office in Great Yarmouth or at a venue in Norwich.
As a business you’re required to comply with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, which govern the provision of first aid by a business to its staff. The regulations apply to all workplaces, regardless of size. It’s important to put nominated members of your team through an emergency first aid training.
Foley and Baugh’s interactive emergency first aid training provides the practical skills and confidence needed in order to help save lives.
Our emergency first aid at work (EFAW) course is a one-day training course which is designed to provide first aiders with the knowhow and skills they need to respond effectively to emergency situations in the workplace. The training is provided by a Qualsafe Registered Provider. Qualsafe is an awarding organisation recognised by OFQUAL, the regulator of First Aid qualifications, examinations and assessments in England.
The training covers a selection of essential first aid skills that are suitable for low-hazard workplaces, such as offices and shops. On this course, your first aiders will learn to respond quickly and confidently to injuries and illnesses, and they’ll be taught to recognise situations where professional medical help is needed.

Emergency First Aid at Work (1 Day)
Training is provided by a Qualsafe Registered Provider, an awarding organisation recognised by OFQUAL.
OFQUAL is the regulator of First Aid qualifications, examinations and assessments in England.
This course delivers training in emergency first aid and is especially suited for nominated first aiders in smaller, low risk working environments.
Employers are required to assess the risk to employees to ascertain the level of first aid provision required. This course is suitable where it has been established that only emergency arrangements are required.
The content of this course provides basic lifesaving and first aid, covering the following:
- The role of the first aider
- Fainting
- Managing an emergency
- Health and safety (first aid) regulations
- Communication and casualty care
- Resuscitation (adult CPR)
- Bleeding (minor and severe)
- Seizures (adult)
- Burns
- Shock
- Choking (adult)
- Unconscious casualty
All course materials, lunch and light refreshments are included. Delegates must ensure they wear appropriate, comfortable clothing
